The BIBLIOTECH project aims to revitalize and enrich school libraries. It also seeks to assert that every child and adolescent has the right to enjoy this essential educational space.
The new trends, needs, and expectations of educational communities are shaping school libraries where fostering a love of reading converges with the development of learning and new digital and media literacies.
We advocate for school libraries that are at the heart of current educational transformations in schools. Contemporary and vibrant spaces that generate new opportunities for reading, experimentation, and socialization.
Within the framework of the Digital Equity strategy, the Bibliotech project will advance and support educational stakeholders who wish to embrace this pending revolution. With this goal in mind, we are launching a pilot program with 15 leading schools that will explore, implement, and evaluate new ways to maximize the socio-educational benefits of their school libraries.
