“This is where it all begins” is the slogan of a campaign launched during school open days and pre-registration periods to promote school choice free from stereotypes. It targets families with children of school age and is promoted by the Equitat.org Foundation, along with aFFac, CONFAVC, La Fede, the collective of schools against segregation, PINCat, Fedelatina, the Gypsy Secretariat Foundation, CCOO, the Movement for Peace in Catalonia, and the Guné Foundation. Since 2024, more than one hundred schools across the country have joined the campaign.

The campaign highlights schools that often go unnoticed during open houses and are not among families’ choices, not because they disagree with the educational philosophy, but because of their social composition. Testimonials from students and families who have sent their children to some of these schools share their firsthand experiences and demonstrate how any fears and misgivings that may exist are unfounded.
