Education

Degree in Education from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), a DEA in Educational Sciences from the University of Rouen, and a Master’s in Social Exclusion and Cultural Diversity from CIDOB.

Professional experience

Since 1999, I have worked at the Bofill Foundation on projects related to education, community engagement and network-based collaboration; cultural diversity; values education; and social and educational inequalities, among other areas. These projects have included Calidoscopi, TRAMA, Joves, creació i comunitat, Temps de barri, Temps educatiu compartit, Service-Learning, and Conciutadania Intercultural.

For ten years, I coordinated the Education Debates programme, jointly promoted by the Bofill Foundation and the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). I currently coordinate the Magnet. Alliances for Educational Success programme.

I have also served as a member of the school councils of Fructuós Gelabert School and La Sedeta Secondary School, and I am currently a member of the school council of Teresa Pàmies Secondary School in Barcelona.

I strongly believe in collaborative work as a key driver for improving education in Catalonia.
