A viral model of learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So\u2026 <strong>what exactly is an <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/edcamp.educaciodema.cat\/\"><strong>Edcamp<\/strong><\/a>? An Edcamp is a gathering which is free and open to everyone. It aims to share learning, knowledge and the concerns of educators, so that participants can develop personally and professionally, to transform education. Its methodology is based on peer learning, conversation and the sharing of know-how. There is no fixed programme designed by the organisers of the meeting; you are the participants who together build the programme based on the topics that interest you.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>The initiative was created in 2010 in the city of Philadelphia and, since then, the idea of organising open meetings with people interested in education has become a movement, with more than 1,000 Edcamps held around the world in 25 countries.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>The Fundaci\u00f3 Jaume Bofill aims to promote this model in Catalonia and, in partnership with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edcamp.org\/\">Edcamp Foundation<\/a> of the United States, wants to extend this methodology to individuals, groups and educational communities who want to organise their own Edcamps. The support offered by the Fundaci\u00f3 to the team of promoters of each Edcamp will be free and will cover training, guidance and logistical and communicative support.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Would you like to share your concerns, knowledge and learning with others who are as passionate about education as you?
